Announcing Partnerships with Braintree and Dropbox

simple guilloche

Our goal to improve the state of modern banking sometimes means that we have to build an experience from scratch. Other times, it means integrating a best-in-class product or service from another innovative company. Today, we’re excited to announce Simple’s collaboration with two standout tech companies: Dropbox and Braintree, the company behind seamless mobile payments solution Venmo Touch.

Add PDFs and images from Dropbox to your transactions

Back in February, we introduced a way to attach photos to your transactions with Simple for iPhone. Since then, a number of you have said you want a way to attach receipts, invoices, confirmations and other documents from your phone.

Over the next several weeks, we’re excited to begin integrating Dropbox into Simple for iPhone. This feature will enable you to attach any image, PDF, or text file in your Dropbox to any transaction in your Activity. Dropbox’s recently-released Chooser SDK has allowed us to build this solution to let you securely access your Dropbox files from within Simple for iPhone.

One touch payments with Simple and Venmo Touch

With just a few taps in Simple for iPhone, you’ll soon be able to add your Simple Visa® Card to Venmo Touch. Once enrolled, you can seamlessly and securely use your Simple Card–without typing in the card number–when you make purchases within some of the most popular apps around, including Hotel Tonight, TaskRabbit, Wrapp, and TrunkClub. Venmo Touch offers us a lightweight way to give you seamless, secure, one touch mobile payments. We’re always looking for elegant and innovative solutions here at Simple, and this partnership is the first of its kind in our industry.

The Future

We’re thrilled to begin rolling out these enhancements to Simple over the next few weeks. Partnerships with companies like Braintree and Dropbox allow us to rapidly bring innovation and enhancements to our customers’ financial lives. We hope you’ll enjoy using these new features as much as we’ve enjoyed working with the teams at Braintree and Dropbox.
