Introducing the BankSimple Customer Relations Team

simple guilloche

Brilliant customer service is a key part of what we’re doing. To deliver brilliant service we need brilliant people. To that end, I’m proud to introduce Kristin Smaby and Rachel Giuliani, our initial customer relations team here at BankSimple.

Kristin comes to us from popular travel organization service TripIt, where she handled support from zero to one million customers single-handedly. Most recently before TripIt, she worked at OpenDNS, handling a similarly demanding volume of customer interactions per month. Kristin’s career in support goes back well over a decade, making her a perfect choice for the role of Customer Relations Manager.

Rachel will be working with Kristin as our first Customer Support Representative. Most recently, she’s been handling social media outreach, online fundraising, and website maintenance for MADRE, a nonprofit organization in New York City. Her excellent communications skills and infectious humor should make the process of getting banking help a little more pleasant.

It’s our hope that, with help from Kristin and Rachel, our product can best reflect the needs of our customers and adapt quickly when those needs change. We’re thrilled to have them on board.
