On February 20th, we announced that Simple would join BBVA family of businesses. Simple will continue as an independent business operating in parallel with BBVA’s US banking operations, BBVA Compass. Josh Reich will remain CEO and be joined by the same team, with the same philosophy and approach to customer experience that built Simple over the past four years. Will I receive a new card? Will my login credentials change? Should I expect any fees? Will any Simple banking services change as a result of this news?
No. As a customer, your card, scheduled bill payments, username, passphrase, routing number, account number, the no surprise fees—everything—will remain the same. We will continue to embrace our philosophy, our business model and the way we treat customers.
Do I need to do anything as a result of this news?
Nope! Just keep enjoying that sweet Simple goodness.
Will there be any changes to the Simple team?
Simple is staying Simple. We’ll continue as an independent business operating in parallel with BBVA’s US banking operations, BBVA Compass Bancshares, Inc. Josh will remain CEO of Simple, and be joined by the same team, with the same philosophy and approach to customer experience that built Simple over the past four years.

Will Simple be moving to Spain?
Simple is proudly headquartered in Portland, Oregon. This will remain the same. We’ll soon be moving to new offices in Portland that will give us the room we need to grow. You should join us!
